Thank you for you interest in the BCYMP Youth Advisory Council!

Applicants must be a current BCYMP Mentee or have been a BCYMP Mentee within the past 6 month and be able and willing to commit to attending a minimum of three quarterly YAC meetings.  Terms are for one year (Sept-Aug), but YAC Members may reapply annually for a total of three terms.

The BCYMP Youth Advisory Council will have up to 12 diverse and representative members selected from all the schools in Brookings County, including homeschoolers. We are glad you are interested in applying, and please understand that if you are not formally appointed to be on the 2021-22 YAC, that you may always share your ideas with our staff. Your voice matters!
