You are invited to be a part of BCYMP’s own G.A.M.E., a casual, fun dinner and raffle benefiting the Brookings County Youth Mentoring Program. The event is being held on Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at Wilbert Square Event Center from 5p.m. to 8p.m. Members of the SDSU Men’s and Women’s basketball teams will attend to speak about what Goals, Attitude, Motivation, and Excellence mean to them. Individual tickets are only $50 or you may sponsor a table of six for $250. No tickets will be sold at the door. Each sponsor table will have a player and a BCYMP Mentor or Board Member seated with them. Attendees will be able to play fun carnival and minute-to-win-it games. The menu, catered by Midwest Fresh, will feature heavy hors d’oevres, wings, cheeseburger sliders, an SDSU ice cream sundae buffet and more!
Proceeds from G.A.M.E. will support the Brookings County Youth Mentoring Program, a registered 501c3 nonprofit whose mission is to “Increase resiliency of young people in our community and to increase protective factors against trauma by building and supporting additional consistent and encouraging relationships with trained, caring adults.” Beat the winter blues by coming to G.A.M.E. and meeting the newest BCYMP team members. This is a great opportunity to learn more about BCYMP, hear Mentor testimonials, meet board members, enjoy delicious food, and win prizes!
